Adina KendelAn absolute highlight of our time in Hue! Our guide Linh led us through the Citadel in a really structured and knowledgeable way. You could immediately tell he has a huge wealth of knowledge about Vietnamese history – he explained the complex historical background of the Imperial City in a way that was easy to follow and genuinely engaging, never dry or boring. He sprinkled in funny jokes and anecdotes throughout, which kept the tour really entertaining. The route was well thought out, covering the most important spots in the Citadel while giving enough context to really understand the significance of each place. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hue who wants to learn more about the history of the Imperial City – ask for Linh as your guide, you won't regret it!Posted on Google

Ranjan LamichhaneWe did the walking food tour. James (Bôn) was really fun and knowledgeable and took us to real local food places where a typical tourist is probably unlikely to visit. The food were all amazing and I really appreciated the other side information that he provided about Huế and Vietnam in general. I highly recommend this to anyone, and please arrive very hungry.

We had a lovely tour directed by Linh N. He was informative, passionate, and knowledgeable! We had plenty of time to explore at each stop. Linh shared photos to enhance our experience and asked fun questions about how we might respond to events he described. Keighty BeeVery interesting and informative tour! Mr. Nguyen picked us up promptly. Gave us good information ahead of time about leaving our luggage at a local restaurant. The tour was just the right length with good stops and time to look around by ourselves. Mr. Nguyen knew a lot about the local sights and history. His English was good. He included everyone on the tour, by asking them questions and getting them involved in the history. It was very enjoyable. Il a répondu à toutes nos questions avec joie. La visite était dynamique avec une touche d’humour de la part du guide. Abigail LMust do in Hue We’ve done many walking tours across Europe, and while we’ve enjoyed our travels around Southeast Asia, we haven’t always found the walking tours here to be of the same standard. This tour was the exception. It was by far one of the best we’ve done. The balance between entertaining storytelling and historical information was excellent. We learned so much about Hue, as well as Vietnam’s wider history and culture. If you like facts and history and hate those organised tours which try to cram in everything and feel rushed then you will really enjoy this well paced informative tour. Linh was a fantastic guide. His English was excellent, making everything easy to understand, and he was warm, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions throughout. We left with a much deeper appreciation of Hue and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city. Definitely worth your time!Posted on Tripadvisor
Andrea TA deep dive into Hue Imperial City and Imperial Vietnam history We had the Hue Imperial City Tour with Linh in August 2026. The tour lasts 3 hours and covers all the buildings and main landmarks of the Citadel. Linh is an excellent guide: he told us a lot of interesting facts about Vietnamese history, in particular about 19th century and Imperial period. Besides history, Linh has been very available in teaching us a variety of curiosities about Vietnamese culture, language and traditions. I storngly recommended to explore the Citadel with him!
